Committee forwards College Market liquor-license transfer to full board

The committee directed the clerk to prepare a resolution determining that issuance of a Type 21 off‑sale general beer, wine and distilled spirits license to Miss Singh Liquor, Inc. (operating as College Market) at 995 Ellis Street would serve the public convenience or necessity and to forward that resolution to the full Board of Supervisors.

Officer Brandon Erickson presented the PCN report for the application, noting zero letters of protest or support, location in Plot 546 (described in the record as a higher-crime plot), and Northern Station’s lack of opposition. ALU recommended approval with conditions requiring active monitoring to prevent loitering and litter control adjacent to the premises. Applicant representatives were present and there was no public comment. The motion to forward the committee report passed on an aye vote from Chair Matt Dorsey and Vice Chair Danny Sauter.
