Votes at a glance: Rules Committee forwards four appointments to full board

The Rules Committee on July 28 amended motions to remove the word ‘‘rejecting’’ and forwarded four nominations to the full Board of Supervisors as committee reports.

Recorded committee actions: For items 1 and 2 (Joel Koppel and Elizabeth McDonald), President Mandelmann moved to recommend both nominees to the full board; Vice Chair Steven Sherrill, Member Mandelmann and Chair Walton voted aye and the motion passed without objection. For items 3 and 4 (Mike Chen and Kate Stacy), the committee similarly amended the motions and voted to recommend the nominees as committee reports; Vice Chair Sherrill and Member Mandelmann voted aye, Chair Walton was absent for that vote, and the motion passed.
