Recreation department reports high youth turnout; bleacher and signage upgrades planned

Allen Yawn of the Recreation Department told the commission that 200 children signed up for winter/spring soccer and another 200 signed up for baseball, softball and t‑ball. He said a new sign has been installed at the department entrance and that crews are pouring new bleacher pads and the department will order new bleachers.
