VISD board approves multiple administrator and principal appointments

Following a closed session for personnel and security matters, the board returned to open session and considered employment recommendations from district administration. Trustees moved to employ several administrators (including named assistant principals and specialists) and approved principal appointments recommended by the superintendent.

A trustee moved and the board voted to appoint Laura Caso as principal of Crane Elementary School, subject to future reassignment by the superintendent. The motion carried after a second and the board later voted to appoint other administrators and principals as read into the record.
