At its July 20 meeting the Pleasantville City Council moved and recorded votes on several agenda items:
- Ordinance 8 (amending Chapter 235, Article 2 of the city code concerning sewers) advanced on first/second reading as noted on the agenda and roll call record.
- Ordinance 9 (adding a municipal public health plan to the code) was moved to second reading to allow further consideration.
- Resolution 137 authorized the budget to be read by title at the public hearing; the public hearing occurred but adoption is deferred pending state review.
- Resolution 138 authorized settlement processing through the Joint Insurance Fund (JIF) for a personnel-related lawsuit; staff said the city’s JIF deductible is $20,000.
- Resolution 143 authorized execution of an amendment to an NJDOT SRTS grant agreement for the Pleasant Middle School Transportation Project to include final design and additional funding.
- Resolution 144 authorized a notice to proceed to CME Associates for engineering services for the West Windsor and Richmond Avenue improvements in the amount of $73,000.
- Resolution 145 authorized personnel transactions for July 2026.
