Montour County commissioners approve minutes, treasurer’s report and pay listed bills

On Feb. 24, 2026, the Montour County Board of Commissioners approved the minutes of the previous meeting with corrections to the spelling/assignment of Bill Betz as a Geisinger Authority appointment and to Commissioner Finn’s name. Mr. Lynn moved the minutes be approved and Mr. Finn seconded; the record states, “On called vote, all voted in favor.”

The board then accepted the Treasurer’s Report and authorized payment of bills across multiple funds. The motion to pay bills listed $332,314.87 from the General Account, $126,162.45 from Children & Youth, $315.85 from Liquid Fuels, $1,745.00 from Human and Community Service, and $181,995.20 from Other Funds; Mr. Finn moved the payment and Mr. Lynn seconded. The meeting minutes record the outcome as, “On called vote, all voted in favor.”
