House pauses for moment of silence for four service members, adjourning to Monday

A lawmaker identified from the Harrison delegation asked colleagues to join in memory of "the four service members that were killed in the down AC-130 refueling tanker over western Iraq the last night." The presiding officer instructed the body to pause for a moment of silence "in honor and memory," and members observed briefly.

Afterward, a motion that "the House stand adjourned until 4PM on Monday" was made, put to voice vote and carried: "The ayes have it." The presiding officer said House members would take page pictures immediately after adjournment and declared the House adjourned until the stated time.
