Pasco council unanimously approves consent agenda with appointments and claims

The Pasco City Council unanimously approved its consent agenda at the July 20 meeting, enacting routine items by roll call. Councilman Parales moved to adopt the consent agenda and Councilman Compost seconded; the motion passed with all voting yes.

Items listed on the consent agenda included approval of July 6 meeting minutes, claims and communications, and several board appointments and reappointments (planning commission and Pasco Public Facilities District Board among others). The meeting packet noted a resolution related to a Washington State Department of Transportation detour agreement and multiple board position appointments and reappointments. The agenda explanation on the record described consent items as routine and removable for separate consideration if any council member so requested.

The council did not remove any item for separate action. The approval was conducted by roll call and recorded as unanimous. The council then moved on to proclamations and public comment.
