County approves Debris Tech LLC contract, limits spending to $80,000

The board voted to enter a contract with Debris Tech LLC to manage debris cleanup after the county attorney reviewed the agreement and raised no concerns. "Let's make a motion to enter into the contract with Debris Tech," one commissioner said, and following discussion the motion was amended to limit total spending to no more than $80,000 to remain within procurement and appropriation thresholds. Officials said the contract term runs through February 2026 and instructed staff to document the $80,000 cap in the agreement and obtain signatures.

The chair called for public comment and none was offered; a voice vote approved the amended motion and the board directed staff to follow up with contract amendments so the cap is recorded in the contract documentation.
