Commissioners discuss but defer paving Kirk Road, public‑works director cites funding limits

Commissioner Joe Adams asked the Board whether the county could proceed with grading and paving Kirk Road, noting a previously opposed resident no longer lives on the road. Public Works Director Darold Wiggins replied that Kirk Road was not in the current pavement program and that the county does not have enough money to maintain existing paved roads; he recommended against paving additional gravel roads at this time.
