Council wants 'nominated' in charter language to preserve confirmation role

Commissioners asked whether the change applied only to a single chapter or should be uniform; council members said the recommendation was intended to be applied throughout the charter. Corporation counsel reviewed the draft language and said the suggested adjustment was appropriate for the revision, leaving further drafting details to the commission.
