Town officers presented the line-by-line rates used to compute the totals. The presentation listed municipal components that sum to a Total Municipal Tax Rate of 0.3922 and a separate veterans'credit rate of 0.0011; combined, those two figures produce the municipal & veterans rate of 0.3933. Education rates were listed as Homestead education 1.1258 and Non-homestead education 1.0757, producing a Total Homestead rate of 1.5191 and a Total Non-Homestead rate of 1.4690 for 2026'27.
Chair Mike DeSocio moved to approve the municipal and veterans tax rate of 0.3933 for the 2026'27 fiscal year; Selectboard member Emily Beer seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. There were no scheduled or unscheduled members of the public at the special meeting.
