Resident asks board to press public works to clear dead trees and unsafe easement

Resident Derek Wardzbanowski described repeated problems with dead and damaged trees in an easement between 143rd and 144th that have caused property damage and limited pedestrian access. He said the town had previously paid claims related to fallen branches and that dead trees remain; he offered photos and pressed the board to take action to clean up the area.

"I had a branch fall and hit my fence, caused damage," Wardzbanowski said, explaining the ongoing hazard and noting the previous insurance payout. The Chair responded that the Tree Board is an advisory body with no staff to perform removals but that he would raise the complaint with the superintendent of public works and follow up by email with the resident about possible next steps.
