Commission approves hold‑harmless agreements for fair vendors

The commission considered indemnification and hold‑harmless agreements with vendors proposed to operate within a defined fair boundary. County staff said the agreements apply to Andrea de Jesus doing business as A and H Farms and to a brewery vendor; commissioners emphasized that alcohol consumption remains restricted to the demarcated area between the arenas rather than across the entire fairgrounds.

A motion to approve the agreements was seconded and passed by voice vote. Staff clarified the vendor permissions apply only inside the licensed footprint and that the Fair Board’s permits and county requirements must both be met before vendors may operate.
