The Franklin Township Board of Education voted to approve a comprehensive consent package at its July 23, 2026 meeting, including finance reports, contracts, personnel actions and policy updates. The packet covered items labeled A1–A16, B1–B16, C1–C8, and personnel items P1–P2.
Board President (speaker 1) called for the motion to approve the full packet and the board carried the motion on a roll call vote. Steven (speaker 2) conducted the roll call; the board recorded unanimous support except that Miss Inocencio abstained on agenda item A3, which affirms the superintendent’s harassment/intimidation/bullying decision in case number 302923. The president said the board would "affirm the superintendent's decision with regard to case number 302923" during the agenda approval.
The consent package also included the first reading of revised policy 5516 (student use of internet‑enabled devices), which the board emphasized would be reviewed and appear again for action at the Aug. 27, 2026 meeting. The motion and roll call are recorded in the meeting minutes as approved with the single abstention noted.
The board took no additional substantive votes on the meeting’s agenda items beyond the consent approval; other items were presented for review or placeholding, including several first readings and memoranda of agreement.
