Facilities update: Pine Grove Manor land sale discussed; ESIP contract with Schneider Electric reported

The facilities committee reported on several capital and facilities items at the July 23 meeting: ongoing projects (including chiller work and updates at Franklin High School and Franklin Park), a potential land sale for Pine Grove Manor School property (Block 240 Lot 1), and an ESIP (energy savings improvement plan) contract awarded to Schneider Electric.

Bill (speaker 7), reporting for facilities, said there were no change orders for current projects and that the Zufo/Zuival project and chiller updates are moving along. He noted progress on the Pine Grove Manor subdivision and sale discussion and reported that an ESIP contract was awarded to Schneider Electric to assist the district’s energy management projects. Bill also described a positive report on solar generation and how the district is receiving revenue from its solar assets.

The facilities items and related RFP/resolution details were included in the packet for board consideration and will follow the board’s contracting and procurement review procedures.
