Police chief lists attempted burglary, theft from vehicle and fraud in monthly report

Police Chief Dustin Sharkey presented his report to the council, which the minutes state is kept on file at City Hall. Incidents listed included an attempted burglary; a parking complaint; theft from a motor vehicle where clothing was taken but money was not; community-policing activities; complaints about snowmobile operation on private property; an open-door call; an animal-call response; two vehicle accidents; a fraud/scam report; agency assists for North Sioux City and Union County Sheriff's Office; and a speed stop.
