Town coordinates with Under Canvas to install speed signs after delivery safety concerns

Members reported meeting with Under Canvas about installing speed and traffic signs on Bridal Bledgley Road; Under Canvas approved the purchase of signs and posts and agreed to cover materials and labor. The town will arrange placement and invoice Under Canvas accordingly, and the planning board will be notified so that members can consider sign placement at an upcoming meeting.

Board members also raised a delivery incident in which a truck driver refused to enter the property near Under Canvas and unloaded on the roadway. The staff member said Under Canvas would contact the carrier to prevent future unsafe roadside unloading.
