Medford council approves golf course membership fees and cart‑shed lease

The Medford City Council voted to approve a lease agreement for the golf course cart shed with an annual rental rate of $200 and to set the course’s membership and usage fees. The council recorded approval of membership fees at $300 for family, $250 for single, and $50 for junior members; cart stall rental at $200 per year; and an unlimited cart usage fee of $300 per year. The motions were moved by Mayor Gary Bowen, seconded by Vice‑Mayor Steve Zeman, and carried with recorded yes votes.

Council members discussed the fee schedule as part of routine business. The approved rates will apply to city‑operated course operations and were entered into the minutes as part of the Feb. 10 meeting record.
