Medford City Manager details water‑line replacement and community updates

City Manager Dea Mandevill delivered the City Manager report during the Feb. 10 meeting, outlining several operational updates. She said the city is preparing to replace 210 feet of main water line near Jefferson; OMAG will video sewer lines later in the month; Arthur Jones has been made a full‑time employee; staff are setting up PayPal for golf course payments; and Jim Shepherd will attend a weather school in Shawnee.

Mandevill also reported on community events and downtown issues: the Father‑Daughter Dance on Feb. 8 drew 128 registrants; the CIA Kick Off is scheduled for March 4 at 5:15 p.m. in Palmer; and there is a setback with the downtown building demolition. The report was delivered as the city manager’s regular agenda item and no formal vote was required.
