Council authorized execution of an MOU with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority to participate in a film‑industry municipal infrastructure program; the business administrator said the city may apply for approximately $1,000,000 in grant funds tied to 1888 Studios and related improvements. The council also approved submission of an NJDOT grant application for 2027 roadway improvements (paving and handicap ramps) because of an application deadline.
