The Franklin Municipal Planning Commission on July 23 unanimously approved the June 25 meeting minutes and a consent agenda covering items 3–15 and 20–22.
The chair called for a motion to approve the minutes; after a second the commission conducted a roll call and recorded affirmative votes from all commissioners and Alderman Peterson. The consent agenda was presented, no items were pulled, and the commission again voted unanimously to approve it.
The meeting also produced a slate of recommendations to the Board of Mayor and Alderman (BOMA): the commission recommended approval of Resolution 2026-48 (plan of services for an annexation), Resolution 2026-47 (annexation of five properties), Resolution 2026-57 (two‑year extension of vested rights for the Franklin 1st United Methodist Church PUD), and Resolution 2026-58 (one‑year extension of vested rights for the 4309 South Carothers subdivision). Each recommendation passed on a roll call vote with all members recorded in the affirmative.
The commission adjourned after approving the agenda items; the BOMA public hearing for the plan of services (Resolution 2026-48) is scheduled for August 11.
