Selectmen note Historical Society repair, mold-remediation and parking items; Westmoreland grant noted

Alissa Thompson reported that Harriet Davenport called to report a broken storm window on the outside of the Historical Society building; Thompson said the board was informed and will address the repair.

The board reviewed a mold-remediation quote from Tri-State Restoration for the Code Enforcement Office that came in at $682.00. Members also discussed renewed interest in pickleball, Hilger recommended installing an “authorized parking only” sign at the lake host parking area to reserve a space for the lake host, and Roscoe noted complaints the North Shore beach gate had been closed on a Wednesday. Shippee said Westmoreland received a Northern Borders grant to renovate its town hall as a community center and that she plans to pursue discussions with Southwestern Community Services. Shippee also said she will call True North for lead and asbestos testing at the parks building and ask Steve Tarbox to assess structure.
