Board agrees to CMP presentation workshop on storm response and reliability

Representatives from CMP offered to present to the Town about storm response, vegetation management and investments to improve electrical reliability; EMA Director Phil Caruso reported the offer and said CMP could explain remote operations and system investments. Select Board members favored a standalone workshop or informational session rather than using a regular board meeting slot and asked the Town Administrator to coordinate and advertise the event.

Board members noted long agendas at Select Board meetings and believed a separate format would allow more public questions. Caruso said some content might be useful to post as a short clip on the town website to reach those who cannot attend the workshop.
