Public works reports progress on seawall, drainage, waterline and pier projects

Keith LaGrange, Public Works Director, and Buster Lyons of Digital Engineering provided a projects-in-progress report listing current and recent work: Seawall Repair (Segments 1 & 2); LA 22 Drainage Improvements; Old Golden Shores Drainage; Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Disinfection System Improvements; Sunset Point Fishing Pier; Old Mandeville Waterlines; LS 32 (Shadows) & 19 (Weldon Park) rehabilitation; Jackson Avenue Boat Launch bulkhead repairs; 2025 roadway and drainage maintenance; 2024 water and sewer maintenance; 2025 asphalt maintenance; and 2026 striping maintenance.

The report was informational; the transcript records project names and scope at a high level but does not include budgets, contractor names (other than engineering representatives) or completion dates for each listed item. Council members acknowledged the updates and proceeded to the next agenda items.
