Prince George Board of Supervisors names representatives to regional bodies and committees

The Board of Supervisors approved a series of one-year appointments to regional organizations and internal committees during its organizational meeting. Nominations and roll-call votes confirmed representatives to the Crater Planning District Commission, the Metropolitan Planning Commission (T J Webb nominated), the Crater Workforce Investment Board (chair nominated), Virginia's Gateway Region (Scott Hamill nominated), the Local Emergency Planning Committee (Philip Pugh nominated) and the CPMT and Expense Report Review Committee seats.

Roll-call votes recorded several abstentions (including by those nominated in some cases) and at least one abstention by the chair on a nomination where he was the nominee. The board concluded appointments before moving to adjournment.
