Commissioners approve multiple routine resolutions, set hearings and approve finance items

During a business block of the meeting the clerk read and the board approved multiple resolutions by roll call. Items approved included appropriations and transfers within the Department of Utilities, a resolution authorizing advertisement for a request for proposals for a hydrogeologic site evaluation related to a landfill expansion, a certification of unpaid water and sewer sums to the Lake County Auditor, and several first‑amendment promissory‑note actions for Wesley Village Limited Partnership. The board also set public hearing dates to amend the 1978 site and grading plan review fee schedule (hearings on August 6 and August 13, 2026) and approved finance items including payment of bills in the amount of $9,168,999 and purchase orders totaling $931,995.51.

Clerk read each resolution and roll calls followed without extended debate. Each listed resolution was moved, seconded and approved. The hydrogeologic RFP for the solid waste landfill expansion and the Wesley Village promissory‑note amendments were among the items that drew explicit roll‑call votes during the meeting.
