Council approves $59,852 deductive change order to close out Paseo project contract

City staff presented Change Order No. 2 with Braun and Butler Construction under the CMAR agreement for the Griffith Remodeling Paseo Project. The change order is deductive and totals $59,852.22, described as a combination of owner contingencies, contractor contingencies and project savings meant to close out the contract. "This is basically going to close out the contract," staff said.

Councilmember Stevens moved the resolution and Councilmember Ortega seconded; the council polled and recorded unanimous approval. Staff indicated no further action was required beyond the adoption of the resolution to implement the closeout.
