Board approves multiple building-value adjustments for Christopher Myers properties; attorney present

Property owner Christopher Myers appeared with attorney Chris Wickham during the Board of Equalization hearings on July 14. The board approved multiple building-value revisions for parcels associated with Myers after roll-call votes.

For parcel 27A the board changed the building value to $1,606,120 (motion by Markham, second Longmore); the vote was recorded with one nay from Anne Gibbons. For parcel 27B the board changed the building value to $629,902 with a similar roll-call result. At least one parcel (27D, listed as an Opportunity Land Investments LLC parcel) was left unchanged after the board found the sale "not a valid sale." The minutes note attorney Chris Wickham represented Myers during the hearings.

The assessor will update records to reflect the approved values and the county clerk will provide required notice to any protestors within seven days.
