Board approves removal of damaged home and several clerical corrections

The Board of Equalization reviewed a report of damaged real property and voted to remove the home owned by Marvin & Deb Ritchie in Arnold Township (motion by Blowers, second Govier).

The board also approved several over/under corrections and clerical adjustments on assessor recommendation, including corrections where 2025 values were not rolled forward for certain parcels (for example, a correction for Gage Keefe was recorded). Several parcels were noted as "no show" and left unchanged; where owners were present the board either accepted assessor recommendations or adjusted building values based on updated depreciation or effective age.

Per statute, the county clerk will issue formal written notices of the board's decisions to protestors within seven days.
