Commission prefers supplemental materials over embedding many examples in Land Use section

Chair John Roe distributed a new draft of the Land Use section on Nov. 22, incorporating notes Sue Sellew had provided before the meeting. Commissioners discussed the pros and cons of embedding specific examples directly in the Regulations versus keeping the Regulations concise and publishing broader examples in separate supplemental materials for public readability.

John Roe, Alexandra Babicki and Lucy Gibson said supplemental materials would make a wider range of examples more accessible to the public while preserving the Regulations’ concise formal language. Andrew Cliburn offered to redraft parts of the section based on the discussion and his background understanding.
