Committee empowers chair and staff to finalize warrant articles for town meeting

The finance director (S2) and staff presented the timeline for approving draft warrant articles for the upcoming town meeting. Committee members discussed the sequence of reviews (CPC -> select board -> town council -> CPC final review) and the time constraints for filing articles on the select-board agenda.

Committee member (S7) moved and the committee voted to empower the chair and staff (Kelly Crispoli) to complete draft warrant articles, fill in dollar amounts and any edits needed so the articles can proceed to town-council and select-board review. The motion passed and the committee discussed follow-up coordination, deadlines for meetings in August and use of two committee members to review drafts when necessary.
