Committee approves front-facing solar array at 25 Pilot Drive

Trinity Solar representative Michael Livingstone told the committee the proposal at 25 Pilot Drive would place 16 black solar panels clustered on the front of the house and that two neighboring houses have similar installations. “We got 16 solar panels, we put a new black roof on the house... The panels are all black, they're closely clustered together,” Livingstone said.

Committee members noted the property falls within a solar-exempt area that allows more leniency for front-facing installations; a motion to approve was made and seconded and the committee voted unanimously to approve the application as presented.
