Three Oaks Council schedules June 10 meeting to consider millage after brief special session

At a May 30, 2026 special meeting, the Three Oaks Village Council approved procedural motions to open and close a Truth in Taxation hearing and to place consideration of a proposed additional 0.2891 mills on the June 10, 2026 regular meeting agenda. The meeting record shows the hearing was opened by motion of Council Member Thomas (seconded by Council Member Jones) and closed by motion of Council Member Jones (seconded by Council Member Springer); both motions were recorded as carried.

Council Member Jones then moved, with support from Council Member Hinman, to place the proposed additional millage rate on the June 10 agenda; that motion also carried. The minutes list present members and record the meeting adjourned at 9:11 a.m. The Treasurer presentation had been removed from the agenda earlier in the session.
