Judson ISD announces new principals and executive directors after closed-session approvals

At the conclusion of the meeting the board returned from closed session and announced several personnel appointments that were discussed in executive session. Trustees voted to approve the personnel slate and the chair publicly named several appointees:

- Alejandra Gutierrez, principal, Selma Elementary (appointment approved)
- Christianne Villanueva, principal, Masters Elementary (appointment approved)
- Jessica Flores Vizcaino, executive director of child nutrition (appointment approved)
- Brandy Moreau, executive director of technology (appointment approved)
- Jamie Sawyer, principal, Eloff STEAM Academy (appointment approved)

The board noted that those appointments had been discussed privately earlier in the meeting and that no final action was taken while in closed session; trustees approved the personnel actions in open session and congratulated the named appointees.
