Council asks whether ambulance can be operational while station work continues

Council asked whether the ambulance could be placed into service without completing large construction work on the station and sought a target timeline. The chair asked whether there was a plan to have the ambulance up and running by January; staff said it "has to be going by August" and that the main unresolved issue is storage space for the vehicle and related equipment (S3).
