Collaborative flags uncertainty over blood‑based dementia biomarkers and pushes for specialty‑led use

Presenters also described draft guidance for post‑diagnosis care, stressing caregiver assessment and wraparound supports; they cited the CMS GUIDE model as an aspirational example for holistic, coordinated care. The Collaborative did not adopt a final policy at this meeting but will refine guidelines and resources, and announced a summit on October 23 in Yakima to share learning and tools.
