Council to review draft transit network next week; staff recommends long‑term funding strategy

Assistant City Manager Ben Woody told council the draft network developed through the Transit Comprehensive Operations Analysis will be presented by transportation staff at next week's meeting. "This will have our transportation staff there next week, and they're gonna review the draft network that was developed through this process," Woody said.

Woody noted PED reviewed the project and recommended it come to full council for deliberations and that council consider directing staff to pursue a long‑term funding strategy for the transit system. Councilmembers said PED discussion contained helpful detail but flagged that some community partners had been missing from earlier meetings and that the full picture will be clearer with additional stakeholder input.
