Committee authorizes OPM and design team to finalize DD submission to MSBA despite late circulation

Peter moved that the building committee authorize the owner's project manager (OPM) and design team to finalize the 195+-page design-development (DD) submission and submit it to the MSBA on Friday. Multiple members said they had not yet seen the full assembled package; Peter said the contents (cost estimates, schedules, drawings and narratives) had been prepared and would be shared concurrently with the MSBA submission.

One committee member called the timing "11th hour" and said it felt premature to be asked to approve without a full review; Peter and other presenters replied the package mostly compiles material the committee has previously seen and that MSBA routinely provides comments during review. The motion to authorize the OPM and designer to finalize and submit the DD package carried in a roll-call vote.
