Council accepts minutes and approves warrants totaling about $324,789

At the July 8 meeting the Fairfield Town Council approved the consent agenda, which included acceptance of the minutes from meeting #2026‑11 and approval of multiple Treasurer’s Warrants. The items passed in a single motion moved by Councilor Peter Lawrence and seconded by Vice Chair Matt Townsend; the motion carried 5‑0.

The minutes record the warrant amounts: Treasurer’s Warrant #134 for FY 2025‑2026 in the amount of $202,862.49, Treasurer’s Warrant #135 for FY 2025‑2026 in the amount of $100,075.47, and FY 2026‑2027 Treasurer’s Warrant #53 in the amount of $21,851.56. The agenda text lists some vendors included in the warrants (Motor Vehicle Fees, Maine Municipal Association, Fire Tech and Safety, Inc., Maine Oxy, Dirigo Safety, IT4Me, Port City Architecture, Maine Chiefs of Police, among others). Council did not remove any item from the consent agenda for separate discussion.
