Commissioners asked whether road signs and striping fall under city jurisdiction or the homeowners' association. Staff explained that while the association schedules paving and often performs striping under a lease arrangement, the city retains responsibility for signage and for maintaining and installing traffic signs in easements.
"The signage stayed with the city, I believe," the Chair said, describing the division of responsibility between striping (often handled by the association when it coordinates paving) and signs (remaining a city responsibility). Commissioners agreed the city maintains responsibility for sign maintenance in easements.
A commissioner reported a curve‑warning sign and a 'no through' sign on Quail Ridge North that had fallen and lost reflectivity; staff asked for photos and said they would send a specific note to Christian to coordinate replacement and follow up.
