Resident questions flock cameras, AI centers and transparency of private meetings

Public commenter Evan Bose pressed the council for transparency about private communications with developers, landowners or their representatives and raised objections to the city's use of surveillance technology. "Not a single crime has been prevented in Cordage County, nor has a single criminal been arrested from these cameras," Bose said, arguing such systems invade privacy and do not deliver public-safety results.

Bose asked whether any council members had signed nondisclosure agreements or had private meetings or communications related to projects that could affect Stevens Point Township; the presiding officer declined to engage in a back-and-forth during public comment and reminded Bose of the three-minute limit.
