Owner outlines renovation and facade plans; board sets Oct. 22 status for Kennedy Avenue property

Amada Gallardo, who identified herself to the board as the owner of the property at 6102–04 Kennedy Avenue, told members she has plans to convert a former mechanic shop (about 3,000 square feet) and mentioned 22 rooms upstairs in the adjacent hotel. She said she has applied for the façade program and has selected a contractor from multiple bids.
