Officer reports no new formal complaints; staff outreach and Welcoming Week plans noted

During the July 21 meeting the commission's officer reported there were no new formal complaints. The officer described several informal inquiries: a waste-removal concern routed to the appropriate city departments and a new resident seeking information about waste removal who was referred to the city webpage. The officer also said a caller shared a lease-notification issue and was referred to tenant resources, mentioning a copy of "the 12-point chapter 12.5 landlord-tenant relationships" was provided.

The officer summarized outreach activity: staffing a table at Jetty Road Day and collecting email addresses for the city's e-newsletter, attending Neighborhood Nights at Larson Park, staffing the Market on the Square, and attending Rosecrance's Veteran Services open house to learn about veteran programs. The officer reminded commissioners that Welcoming Week is scheduled for Sept. 10'19, 2026 and said plans for city participation were still in development.
