Kalamazoo commission votes to go into closed session to discuss pending litigation

At the close of the Committee of the Whole meeting, the commission moved into a closed session to discuss pending litigation permitted under the Open Meetings Act.

Commissioner Slaby made the motion and Commissioner Hess provided the second; Clerk Boylan called the roll and each commissioner present voted "yes," including Commissioner Hoffman, Commissioner PRL, Commissioner Slaby, Commissioner Wilson, Vice Mayor Duncan, Mayor Anderson and Commissioner Hess. The chair noted that no votes are taken in closed session and that any decision based on closed-session information must be taken publicly at a later meeting. The committee then adjourned the public meeting and proceeded to the closed session.
