Board approves 2026 independent-contractor agreements for counselors and program classes

The Park Board approved a slate of 2026 independent-contractor agreements for program counselors and class instructors at its July 21 meeting. The agreements include a counselor contract for Isabella Bracken and program/class agreements for vendors and instructors such as Vanessa Rich (wellness classes), Language and Action Incorporate (language classes), Midwest Training and Ice Center (beanbag tournaments), Salt and Core Pilates, and Christina Fagan (simmer pot classes).

The motion to approve the contractor slate was moved by Bill Manisopoulos, seconded by Francis Ryder, and approved by roll-call vote 4–0 with Vice President Eric Velisa absent. Board minutes record the motion and roll-call for municipal contracting compliance.
