Board honors Janice Savage Martin and lists community donations

Board members paid tribute to outgoing trustee Janice Savage Martin, presenting flowers and thanking her for 14 years of service to the Duncanville ISD community. Multiple trustees offered personal remarks about Martin’s guidance, cheerleading and commitment; one trustee said she would be missed and that "there's not going to be one person ever that will love Duncanville and this community more than you."

Donors and amounts announced included Atmas Energy ($13,000), KFC Duncanville (Joseph Omabogi, $330.40), Reading for Education ($383.37), Spirit Work ($1,387.52), Chris Connley (Panther Pantry donation, $2,964), Alpha Kappa Alpha Upsilon Lambda Omega ($1,500), Sedalco Construction Services ($1,400 / $1,450 entries), and Southern Metroplex Texas Chapter of the Lynx ($394.25).
