Board approves wide slate of personnel actions; district introduces new secretary

The board considered and approved a broad personnel agenda that included acceptances of retirements and resignations, approval of classified and provisional appointments pending receipt of Act 168 disclosures and clearances, temporary summer maintenance support through August and during the 2026‑27 year as needed, appointment of curriculum leaders and department chairs for 2026‑27, approval of extracurricular positions and stipends, aquatic staff approvals, and updates to substitute lists.

Board members acknowledged retirees named in the personnel packet and thanked them for their service. The board also introduced Melissa as a new secretary at Spring Grove Intermediate School, filling a position left by Megan Rogers’ retirement. Multiple personnel items were approved in roll‑call votes; where individual items required separate votes the board conducted them as recorded in the meeting minutes.
