Commission advances first reading for five-lot RTZ plan at 4717 Hawken Trail

Ordinance 26-1313 received a first reading approving rezoning of 4717 Hawken Trail from R1 to RTZ to permit five single-family detached lots. Gordon Hogan, owner of G4 Development, told the commission the project will include paving two currently unimproved right-of-ways to a standard coordinated with public works and that the developer expects to begin work in early fall after approvals.

Staff said the parcel meets RTZ development standards and planning commission recommended approval after multiple reviews. The first reading carried; the item will return for second and final reading on August 4.
