Board approves replacement house at Little Noyac Path, asks for detailed landscape and updated rendering

Erica Broberg presented a replacement residence for 684 Little Noyac Path that she said will prioritize woods and revegetation over open lawn on the property's roughly three-plus acres. The proposal includes stucco and natural stone on the base, 5/4 red cedar clapboard siding, brown metal windows with divided lights and sections of standing-seam, lead-coated-copper roofing and Brava composite shingles.

Broberg said the owner intends to remove a tennis court and revegetate that area and most of the former lawn. A board member asked that the final landscape plan and an updated exterior rendering be submitted to reflect the revetation goal; the applicant said she would provide a more detailed plan within about a week. One member recused himself for a contractor conflict before the board voted to approve the project with the condition that the updated landscape plan and final rendering be submitted to staff for review.
